Heart Resonance ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information We Collect
Information that stays on your device (never transmitted)
Heart-rate data: BPM readings and inter-beat intervals measured from your Bluetooth heart-rate monitor during sessions.
Session history: Timestamps, duration, breathing pace, HRV metrics, and composite scores for each session.
Resonance frequency profile: Your personalized breathing rate derived from the ASSESS protocol.
None of this health data is uploaded to any server, shared with third parties, or associated with your identity.
Information collected automatically
Crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics): If the app crashes, a report is sent to Google/Firebase containing device model, OS version, app version, and error stack trace. No heart-rate data or session content is included.
Usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics): Anonymized event counts such as screen views, session start/end, and feature usage. No raw health data is included. Analytics collection is disabled in debug builds.
Information you voluntarily provide
Feedback messages: If you submit feedback via the in-app form, your message, an optional name, feedback category, and device platform are stored in Firebase Firestore. This is the only user-submitted data stored on our servers.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
On-device data (sessions, profile): Retained until you reset history or uninstall the app. You control this data entirely.
Crash reports: Retained by Firebase Crashlytics per Google's retention policy (90 days).
Analytics events: Retained per Firebase Analytics standard retention (up to 14 months).
Feedback messages: Retained in Firestore until manually deleted. Contact us to request deletion.
6. Your Rights
All users
Access: You can see all your session data within the app.
Delete: Use "Reset History" in the Breath History screen to delete all session data. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
Feedback deletion: Email us at murray@gromalabs.com to request deletion of any feedback you submitted.
EU / EEA residents (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and portability of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at murray@gromalabs.com.
California residents (CCPA)
You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale (we do not sell data). Contact us at murray@gromalabs.com.
7. Children
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data Security
Heart-rate and session data never leave your device. Feedback submitted through the app is transmitted over HTTPS to Firebase Firestore. We rely on Google's security infrastructure for server-side data protection.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app adds new features or data practices change. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
