For Practitioners

HRV biofeedback your clients
actually use between sessions.

Full Shaffer six-criteria methodology, transparent enough to discuss with clients.

The practitioner problem

You know HRV biofeedback works. The friction is everything around it.

01

Expensive proprietary sensors create a barrier

A client motivated enough to buy a $129 sensor after their first session is one in ten. The other nine drop out between week one and week three — the exact window the research tells us is critical for establishing a practice. A $30 chest strap they already own (or easily buy) removes that friction entirely.

02

Opaque coherence scores make it hard to coach

When a client reports "I got 75% coherence today," you can't tell whether they found their resonance, whether their peak was dominant, or whether they just happened to have a good vagal day. The six criteria give you something to actually discuss.

03

Session data is trapped in the vendor's cloud

You can't feed it to your clinic's assessment workflow. You can't look at it across a program. You can't even export it for the client's records. Heart Resonance exports every session as a plain CSV — bring it into your own tooling.

04

Subscriptions compete with your own fees

Clients pushing back on $10/month for an app they barely understand is a common reason the practice stops. A one-time unlock removes that recurring decision. They pay once, have the tool forever, and their compliance becomes a clinical question rather than a billing one.

What your clients get

Everything built for the Vaschillo / Lehrer protocol — just without the research-lab interface.

Direct resonance frequency measurement

The adaptive pacer runs a 12-minute ASSESS / REFINE / HOLD protocol on their own HRV. Identifies their personal frequency once; practices there thereafter.

Full six-criteria breakdown

Every session: peak frequency, peak power, peak height, peak dominance, LF/total-power ratio, time-domain stability. You can diagnose specifically why a session went the way it did.

Plain-CSV export

R-R intervals at millisecond precision. Pacer cue timestamps. Session metadata. Stable schema, easy to parse. Import into whatever workflow you use.

Practice consistency tools

Scheduled reminders, streak tracking, weekly summary notifications. The boring compliance scaffolding that determines whether the clinical protocol actually gets done.

Works with sensors clients already own

Any Bluetooth HRS-compliant sensor: Polar H9/H10, Garmin HRM-Dual/Pro+/Fit, Wahoo TICKR, Polar Verity Sense, Coospo H6. We'll never ask them to buy our hardware.

Privacy by default

No account. No cloud. All data on the client's device unless they explicitly export it. Matters for HIPAA-adjacent practitioners, matters more for clients working through trauma.

The coach program

Early-stage. Concrete offerings below. Open to shaping it around what you actually need.

Today (available now)

  • Practitioner license pricing — bulk unlock codes for clients, discounted from the $9.99 consumer price
  • A co-brandable resonance-frequency protocol PDF to use as client handouts
  • Direct email line for clinical questions about the methodology — we'll answer. Several of us are trained in HRV biofeedback ourselves.

Being built (2026)

  • Coach dashboard — a web app that lets you see your clients' session history, flag compliance issues, and export cohort-level data. Opt-in from the client side; consent is explicit.
  • Protocol templates — clinician-configurable session plans (e.g. "Lehrer 10-week anxiety protocol", "baroreflex training for hypertension", etc.) you can push to clients.
  • Note integration — export to SOAP-note-friendly formats and common EHRs.

Research collaborations

We're open to working with researchers on HRV biofeedback studies — particularly anyone who needs an app that exposes the full frequency-domain and time-domain data without being locked to a vendor's proprietary coherence score. If you're running a trial and want to discuss the fit, reach out.

Let's talk

Drop us a line with a bit about your practice and how you currently use HRV biofeedback. We'll respond within a few days with practitioner licensing info and an offer to jump on a call if it's useful.
